Timothy Parsons is now charged with two counts of murder after a vicious crime that left two women dead. Police say Parsons stabbed to death his wife, 35-year old Leigh-Anne Kinder Parsons then murdered Leigh-Anne's mother, 62-year old Sue Kinder in their home in Boone County. Police say he also tied up a 15-year old girl in the home, sexually assaulted her, and threatened to kill her if she tried to get away and get help. With heavy hearts, family tried to make sense of such a horrific crime on Tuesday afternoon. "They didn't deserve this I can tell you that much. It's a sad thing. And nobody should have to go through something like this," said family member, Kay Linville to Eyewitness News on Tuesday. Parsons was on the run since Tuesday morning. His car was found later that afternoon near the Mountain View Mine in eastern Kanawha County. Numerous tips eventually led police to Parsons' hide out early Wednesday morning along the Kanawha River in the woods and just feet behind Dupont Middle School. Teacher Gill Heasley lives next door to where Parsons was caught. He says the arrest was too close for comfort. "You know, we come down here and walk around the track sometimes after to lunch to get some exercise and it's really scary when you think about that," explained Heasley. Call it scary or just uncomfortable. Karly Sims says she is just glad Parsons was caught. "I didn't even know there were murderers that we so close to home. To think that he was just sleeping right next to me is just terrifying," said Sims. A small community is now left to mend. "I locked my doors last night to say the least. And it's just concerning I guess to say the least," explained Heasley. Parsons is charged with two counts of first degree murder and second degree sexual assault. MORE NEWS FROM EYEWITNESS NEWS
