A Cabell County woman will appear before a Kanawha County Magistrate on Monday after deputies arrest her for driving under the influence with her 12-year-old son in the vehicle.
Samantha Beckett, 44, is also facing a felony charge of child neglect. Deputies say Beckett was driving erratically on U.S. 60 near Winfield Road and nearly struck a retaining wall.
Deputies say Beckett told officers she had not slept in four days and did not know what county she was in.
