A Kanawha County murder trial continues in Charleston.
Thursday morning, a North Charleston woman testified she saw Gregory Poole's body in a neighbor's yard when she looked out her window while drinking a cup of coffee.
A policeman testified he caught Murray's brother running away near the crime scene investigating a shots fired call. He was released.
The body was not found until hours later. Prosecutors contend Murray and his brother kidnapped Poole in an attempt to steal drugs or money. The victim was a drug dealer.
Garland Murray and his brother, Deshawne Taylor are both charged in connection with the killing of Gregory Poole. Poole was found shot to death in a yard in North Charleston nearly two years ago.
Police believe Murray pulled the trigger. Taylor has plead guilty to kidnapping in exchange for dropping the murder charges.
