I-77 NORTH REOPENED Armored Truck Flips, State Police Want Stolen Money Returned

An armored truck full of cash and coins flipped over on Interstate 77 Tuesday morning.
It happened in the northbound lanes near Sissonville.
We're told the driver might have hydroplaned and lost control.
Officers were called in after the crash to help secure the money.
They closed the road until 12pm, which upset a lot of commuters.
The driver and guard were injured. At least one was taken to the hospital.
State Police say if anybody witnessed money being taken, call them at (304) 558-7777.

All lanes of Interstate 77 north near mile marker 116 are still closed.

An armored truck has flipped over on Interstate 77 north near Sissonville.
Both northbound lanes and one southbound lane has been shut down for clean up.
The road will remain closed until the money can be transferred from the road to a couple of vans at the scene.
One person has been taken to the hospital.
We have a crew on the scene and will bring more information as it becomes available.
