Three people are in jail after deputies respond to a tip at a Cabell County apartment building.
Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas tells us it happened Tuesday afternoon at Culloden Manor located in the one thousand block of Ridge Run Road.
That's where deputies found Thaddeous Reams, 24, of Milton, trying to escape out the back door; he was arrested on outstanding felony warrants. Inside the apartment Sheriff McComas says deputies found the ingredients used to make meth along with the strong odor of the drug.
Tiffany Steel, 22, whose name was on the lease of that apartment, and Brittany Smith, 21, of Culloden were both arrested and charged with attempting to operate a meth lab.
We're told that Steel's young son also lived at that residence, but was at school at the time of the bust. CPS has been called into assist, and Sheriff McComas says Steel may face additional charges of child abuse or neglect. All three remain in jail.
