A house on Central Avenue in South Charleston caught fire after someone threw what could have been a Molotov cocktail on the front porch.
It happened a little after on one o'clock Monday morning.
Neighbors say that they think someone was squatting at the house, but that person apparently left the scene before firefighters got there.
While investigating the cause of the fire, firefighters found a working meth lab in the back of the house.
A crew from Parkersburg were called in to cleanup the lab.
