A Huntington man on home confinement is busted by his own probation officer who was pretending to be a teenage girl on-line.
This was all part of a pre sentencing investigation to see whether or not 36 year old Brian Hysell was eligible for probation.
He was already in trouble for alleged sex crimes against a family member.
Hysell's probation officer made a fake Facebook page where he posed as a 16 year old girl. Troopers with The Crimes Against Children Unit say Hysell talked with whom he thought was that teenager on Facebook, then began exchanging phone numbers and texting.
We're told those text messages became very sexual and graphic. Hysell then asked for the fake teen's e-mail address to which we're told he sent 5 pictures of his genitals.
At that point, the probation officer contacted troopers.
Troopers say these conversations happened April 18th and 19th.
Troopers arrested Hysell this past Friday.
Hysell now faces 11 felony charges, including distribution and display to a minor of obscene material. He'll be back in court for his preliminary hearing next Monday.
