The Kanawha Bureau of Investigation is looking into the near drowning of a 15
month old girl who wandered into a home pond. Detectives said last night, Kadence Stout wandered out of sight of her parents while they were working in their Eskdale yard.
Cops say Kadence's mother, Danielle Stout, found Kadence in the nearby pond unresponsive. The parents and others performed CPR on the infant before she was transported to Women's and Children's Hospital.
Kadence Stout remains in Women's and Children's Hospital.
No word on the child's condition.
