Good news for deer hunters in West Virginia...you're finally getting a gun season in October...but there's a catch.
It will only be for three days and you can only hunt antlerless deer. The hunting regs were released with the changes last week. Licensed hunters will be able to bag a doe with a gun October 25th through the 27th. The new regs also allow for killing two deer in one day in some counties provided one is antlerless. For a complete look at the new regs, go to the DNR's website.
