Milton Elementary School students went pink for pie Friday!
The school has been collecting money for the American Cancer Society this week and learning about different types of cancer. Today, they all dressed up in pink in support of a teacher's aide who is fighting cancer, "Mrs. Coleman". Anyone who made a donation got a chance to have their name drawn to throw a pie in a teacher's face! They gathered at the football field this afternoon as 14 teachers, including principal Kim Cooper, got "pies" in the face.
The students raised more than $2,000 this week for ACS.
