Ripley Police Officer Off Job; Under Investigation

A Ripley police officer is off the job pending an investigation by the West Virginia State Police and FBI.
Police Chief Jim Fridley identifies the officer as Patrolman George Puskas.
Puskas has been with the department for 3 1/2 years and was put on unpaid administrative leave a little more than a week ago.
Fridley wouldn't comment on the allegations against Puskas, as the case is being handled externally.
State police also will not comment on the investigation.
