A mother is in jail after allegedly passing prescriptions of her daughter who died earlier this spring.
Court documents say Donna Lee Workman, 53, of Ottawa, allegedly went to the Kroger Pharmacy on April 10th to pick up prescriptions for Xanax and Ambien, both of which are controlled substances.
Investigators say that Donna Workman signed the name of Melissa Workman, her daughter who died back on March 11, 2012, when she purchased the prescriptions.
Workman is charged with prescription fraud. West Virginia State Police are investigating.
