A Point Pleasant man and his wife are behind bars in connection with a kidnapping.
Police arrested 39-year-old William McDermitt and 40-year-old Elizabeth McDermitt late Wednesday night.
The couple is accused of tying up David Greene with zip ties, beating him and even cutting some of his hair. Police say the pair then put him in the trunk of their car, drove him to their farm, beat him again and left him in the middle of a field.
Both face kidnapping charges and are in the Western Regional Jail.
