A Huntington man is facing numerous charges after police say he allegedly kidnapped a woman and then fought with officers.
According to the criminal complaint, Joshua Andrew Hicks, 29, of Huntington allegedly held the victim inside his apartment on Artisan Avenue for a couple of hours Monday night.
The victim told police that Hicks blocked the door and threatened her with a knife - saying if she tried to leave he would stab her - or anyone who tried to help her.
When officers responded to the scene, they say Hicks allegedly fought with and kicked an officer in the knee. Police were able to get him to the ground and handcuff him.
Hicks is charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, obstructing, and battery of a police officer.
