Losing a child is a parents worst nightmare. For Darrell Danberrry that nightmare is now his reality.
A couple of weeks ago Darrell's son, Dale, was hit and killed by an SUV while crossing the road in front of his home on Rt. 34 on Red House Hill. He was just 8 years old.
Saturday people came out in numbers showing their support organizing a cook out to help cover the funeral expenses for Dale.
