Over a month after the deadly tornadoes that ripped through Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia, storm victims are now focusing on the financial burden it takes to rebuild.
Residents say most of the victims in Wayne County do not have insurance coverage for wind damage, because most didn't anticipate twisters in Appalachia.
Tornadoes aside, FEMA has approved millions for those affected by the recent storms.
Tornadoes, mudslides and flooding have about 1,400 people needing help to recover.
So far, about 2.6 million dollars has been approved.
The storms affected Lincoln, Marion and Wayne Counties from the end of February through the first week of March.
