More voting controversy in Boone and Lincoln Counties, and now a national watch group is threatening to take legal action.
The Washington D.C. based group called Judicial Watch says there are more people registered to vote in Boone and Lincoln Counties than there are adults over the age of 18.
We're told officials with the two counties have been working with the Secretary of State's Office to update their list of registered voters.
Judicial Watch says the counties have until August 8th to get that list in order or they will take legal action.
