Once again, Eyewitness News is proudly teaming up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the Dream Home giveaway. The event gives you the chance to win a beautiful, half-million dollar home in the Cobblestone Subdivision of Putnam County. More importantly, you're also helping sick children at the hospital by providing funding for cancer research.

The home is now just steps away from completion. And completion of the home will go further than you can imagine to help sick children around the world.

Every year, there are many people who play a huge role in making the Dream Home a reality, like Cynthia Hale from Nitro Carpet Outlet. This is the sixth year the company has donated time, money, effort and materials to install flooring at the home. It's time Cynthia says is well-spent.

"It's become a part of our store. Everybody looks forward to it every year. All of my guys are on board. We donate services anyway that we can. And its just become part of family," explained Hale.

It's a family that works together through each phase of the home's construction, all because the house will help fund life-saving cancer research to help kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

"We're making an impact worldwide, because the solutions that St. Jude has affect children all over the world," said builder, Dave Hobba.

A community of dedicated volunteers is now building a dream home, with a dream to one day eradicate childhood cancers forever.

"Somebody is going to buy a ticket, win this house and help those kids. That's what it all comes down to," said Hale.

The Dream Home will be given away live on Eyewitness News June 10th. Tickets for the Dream Home are $100.

You can buy a ticket at Peoples Federal Credit Union at any of the three branches (in Nitro, Eleanor, and Point Pleasant.) You can also buy tickets at Burdette Camping Center, or any participating Good Neighbor Pharmacy.

You can also visit www.dreamhome.org, or call 1-800-592-1582.
