Kanawha County deputies are searching for a man who held up a couple inside their own home on Sunday. It happened around 11:30am on Ferry Street in Shrewsbury.
Police say a man went into the home with a gun and demanded cash and pills - and then reportedly set his gun down to get tape to possibly try to tie up the victims, but they fought back and the robber ran.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, black and silver Nike sneakers, jeans and a gray jacket. He was also carrying a black and red backpack. If you have any information call the Sheriff's Office at 304-357-0169.
