Bad news for everyone in our area who rushed out, stood in line and waited patiently for the Mega Millions numbers to be drawn. You are not a winner.
Three winning tickets were sold in Illinois, Maryland and Kansas.
The winning jackpot was up to $640million, the biggest amount in history.
Lottery officials won't say who won the big money until the winner comes forward.
The $640million prize will be split among the winners. That means up to more than $213million for each winning ticket before taxes.
