Understandably, a :tale as old as time" is familiar with most theater goers. "Beauty and the Beast" is one of Walt Disney's most popular films...and its stage adaptation has been wowing audiences on Broadway and locally for years.
Huntington High School's version is offering up a bit of a different twist...with costumes brought in from out of state to give the production an authentic look.
Senior Kristin Caviani is playing the role of Belle, the small town girl who longs for a different life...and finds it in an enchanted castle.
The rest of the cast includes Jacob Jarvis as The Beast, Chloe Donahoe as Mrs. Potts, Barry Westmoreland at Lumiere, Jacob Eastman as Cogsworth and Megan Haynes as the Wardrobe. The musical is directed by Helen Freeman.
