Several groups and organizations are working to collect funds to help the family of the fire victims. Nine people were killed in a fire that broke out on Saturday at a home on Arlington Avenue. If you would like to help, you can send a donation to one of these organizations:

Shoals Elementary School, where the two oldest children attended, is asking every student and administrator in Kanawha County to donate $1 for funeral expenses. You can reach the school at (304) 348-1900.
