Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Athens, Ohio early Monday.
According to a press release from Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly, it happened around 9am at a home on Alderman Road.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found 68-year old Robert T. Nusser, dead in a living room chair. The body of 64-year old Paulette Nusser was found in bed. Sheriff Kelly says both received a single gunshot wound.
We're told deputies had made contact Nusser late last month, when they served the residents with an eviction notice. Deputies made contact again with the Nusser's on March 25th, telling them they had to vacate that residence. The Nussers recently moved to Athens from Chillicothe.
