The loss of the six children, Lisa Carter and Alex Seals has left the ones who loved them in shock and heartbroken.
Six children, all killed and the friends who loved them can't shake the pain of never seeing their faces again.
We're told by family friends that some of the kids attended Shoals Elementary. They were a close-knit family, the kids were always happy and friends say the family was excited to spend Lisa's birthday together under the same roof.
Eyewitness News talked to one of Lisa's friends who says he planned on celebrating Lisa's birthday with her Saturday night.
He says he'll never forget how those kids looked up to him and he's holding out hope that Bryan Timothy Camp "BJ" will survive.
"It's sad to say that whenever we did fall off, I was trying to pick up where we left off and tonight would have been a great time to do so," said family friend, Damon Hambleton.
"BJ" remains on life support. Friends say he may be moved to a Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
