Metro 911 Dispatchers tell Eyewitness News that an elderly man was burnt while trying to put out a brush fire.
The fire started in the Jordan Creek Area of Clendenin just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
They say the victim has 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 15 percent of the body.
He was flown to an area hospital.
