The preliminary hearing for a man charged with killing three people in Fayette County earlier this month is on hold. A Fayette County Magistrate has ordered 83-year old Howard Junior Curry to undergo a mental examination. Curry is charged with shooting and killing his wife - 47-year old Rexanna Curry, her father 82-year old Charles Treadway, and her sister 57-year old Sheila Fay Miller at his home back on March 17th. ------------------------------------------------------- We are learning more about the victims of a triple murder Saturday in Fayette County. Fayette County deputies say 83-year-old Howard Junior Curry shot and killed his wife, 47-year-old Rexanna Curry. He also shot and killed his sister-in-law, 57-year-old Sheila Fay Miller, and her father, 82-year-old Charles Fitzwater. Police aren't releasing an exact motive, but do say the shooting is domestic related. Curry is charged with three counts of murder. He is being held at the Southern Regional Jail pending a preliminary hearing. ------------------------------------------------------- An elderly man is behind bars accused of killing three people in Fayette County. Deputies say they got a call around 5am that people had been shot at a home at 136 Toney Hollow Number 1 near Fayetteville. When they arrived on the scene, they found two women who had been shot to death and a man critically injured from a gunshot wound. That man later died at a hospital. Deputies have arrested 83 year old Howard Junior Curry. The names of the victims have not been released. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for the latest on this developing story.
