The Kanawha Bureau of Investigation has arrested Crystal L. Jordan, 28, of Sissonville on a charge of child neglect resulting in death. Her son, Kolton Zander Jordan, 16 months, was found unresponsive in a bathtub Thursday afternoon. Crystal Jordan admitted to police she had used methamphetamine earlier in the day and later fell asleep with Kolton in the crib. She also admitted repeated illicit drug use over the past year, according to detectives. We have a crew on the way to the courthouse for her initial arraignment. ------------------------------------ We're learning more about the death of an infant boy in Kanawha County on Thursday. According to a release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office it happened Thursday afternoon at a home on Centennial Drive in the Tupper's Creek area of Sissonville. That's where deputies Joshua Jordan, the father of 18-month old Kolton Zander Jordan found him unresponsive in the bathtub with running water. Deputies tell us the mother of the child, 28-year old Crystal Jordan, was reportedly asleep at the time and woke when she heard her husband yelling for help. The body was sent to the WV Office of the Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of death. No charges have been filed as of yet. ------------------------------------ Investigators are trying to figure out what led to a baby boy's death in Kanawha County. It happened at a home on Walker Road near Sissonville Thursday afternoon. Investigators did confirm a boy died; but wouldn't say if the baby died at home or at the hospital. They did say, however, an incident happened inside the home. One neighbor says he saw a man come home and start to scream. No word yet on if any charges will be filed. MORE NEWS FROM EYEWITNESS NEWS
