One man died after a logging accident in Kentucky on Wednesday.
Kentucky State Police say it happened around 2:30pm in the 200 block of Green Branch Road in the Webbville area of Kentucky.
KSP say witnesses tell them the driver was operating a Log Skidder on a steep terrain in a wooded area near Webbville when the equipment malfunctioned causing it to roll down the hill. That's when troopers believe the driver allegedly attempted to jump from the machinery, but didn't clear it in time.
Troopers say 49-year old Joseph D. Adams of Webbville, Kentucky died as a result of injuries he received in that accident.
His body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
