An equipment malfunction rocks the Kanawha Valley.
It happened around 6am at Point Lick Road off Campbell's Creek Drive in Charleston.
Manager of Corporate Development for Chesapeak Energy says a piece of equipment failed at the separation plant.
We're told there were no injuries, no threat to the environment, no fire or hazardous chemicals released and there was no service disruption for natural gas consumers.
Chesapeake Energy released this statement, "The plant is safely secured and not operating at this time."
