A Kanawha County hero--a dog name named Fancy--is up for a national award. Fancy, a Dachshund, saved her human family's lives by alerting them the house, which had no smoke detectors, was on fire in January of last year.
The little dog from Blue Creek with a big spirit is now one of the top ten finalists in the Humane Society of the United States dogs of valor awards.
