One eastbound lane of I-64 near Grayson, Kentucky is back open after an early morning accident.
Kentucky State Police tell us the crash happened around 5:00am Friday near the rest area in Carter County.
Troopers say Columbus Hollingsworth of Danville, Virginia, was driving a 1978 Ford Van eastbound, and 41-year old Jeffrey Couch of Nancy, Kentucky was driving a tanker trailer behind that van.
State Police say it appears that Hollingsworth attempted to change lanes, when Couch allegedly changed lanes at the same time, causing the two vehicles to collide. The van hit the guardrail.
Fuel from the tanker spilled onto I-64 making for a mess. The entire roadway remained shut down for two hours. Right now, one lane of I-64 eastbound is open to traffic and motorists are asked to use caution while traveling through that area.
Hollingsworth was taken to King's Daughters Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Emergency dispatchers say that I-64 eastbound lanes are shut down at mile marker 174.
That's near Grayson. We're told that a tractor trailer and van collided. The person in the van has been taken to the hospital.
The interstate will be shut down for a couple of hours as crews clean up the scene.
