A Sissonville High School track coach is hit by a car on his way to practice.
Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies arrested 25 year old Melissa Cranfield Tuesday.
Deputies say she hit Richard Thomas with her car while he was running along Call Road in Sissonville.
It all happened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Deputies say Cranfield didn't stop, leaving Thomas in a ditch
Deputies busted Cranfield when she and another person drove by the scene of the crime in the same car she was driving when deputies say she hit Thomas.
Cranfield is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, driving without a license and failure to report an accident.
