Logan County Sheriff's deputies have confirmed to Eyewitness News that a suspect in the triple murder in Chapmanville has died. Chief Deputy Sonya Porter says 34 year old Trevor Tomblin of the Chapmanville area was in a car accident on Big Creek Sunday morning.
Prescription pills, cash and a gun were found inside the truck, according to police and police later discovered that the truck belonged to one of the victim's.
Tomblin was considered a suspect in the murder. He was taken to CAMC in Charleston following the accident but later died.

Family members of the victims in a triple murder in Chapmanville have confirmed their identities to Eyewitness News.
They say husband and wife, Eddie and Michelle Bell, along with Paul Jarrel were found shot to death at a home on Huckleberry Road near Chapmanville Sunday morning.
Authorities say they have people of interest in the murders and it may have been drug related.

Police in Logan County are on the scene of a triple homicide near Chapmanville.
It happened Sunday morning on Huckleberry Road.
Investigators say they found the bodies of two men and a woman. They were believed to have been shot to death.
Police say they do have a person of interest, but so far no arrests have been made.
