Hurricane High School student Allie Browne will only need a few baskets on senior night to put her name on a very exclusive list in Hurricane history.
The point guard for Hurricane High is just five points shy of her 1,000th point.
Only two other girls' basketball players have reached that milestone in Hurricane history.
Perry Estep coached Allie's dad in the 1980's and he says the gift was passed down to Allie.
"She's not going to settle for 1,000 points. She's just five points away. She'll eclipse that tonight and go on the next couple three games, four games, whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up with over 1,100 points," said Perry Estep.
Wednesday night is senior night and Allie is hoping to make it a night she'll never forget.
"It's just like wow. It's coming to an end! It's finally over, it's my senior year. It's real exciting," explained Allie.
Allie says she's not too worried about how she gets those five points, as long as she's having fun.
"I asked my parents I was like, what should it be a lay-up or a jump shot or what and they were like we don't care, just get it," said Browne.
The game between the Redskins and the Wayne Pioneers tips off at Hurricane High School at 7:30 p.m.
