Four people accused of food stamp fraud faced a federal judge in Huntington Wednesday.
The owner of Sunoco on 20th Street was the last of four suspects to plead not guilty in the fraud case. His manager, Stephanie Paulie; and employee Cynthia Gibson were also charged with fraud.
In a separate case, the former owner of the Huntington Mart was charged with similar crimes.
According to a federal indictment, both stores allegedly exchanged food stamp benefits for lesser amounts of cash, but pocketed funds.
Prosecutors say those workers at both stores defrauded the government of $420,000.
