A traffic stop turned into a drug bust Monday night. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office says a deputy spotted 26 year-old Jeffrey Potteiger of Charleston driving the the Sissonville area with fraudulent registration.
During the traffic stop, police say it was also discovered that Potteiger did not have a license and a K-9 helped discover he had four Lortabs, 16 grams of marijuana, digital scales and more than $1,000 cash.
Potteiger has been charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, forgery of a registration, drive while revoked for DUI and no insurance.
