A man is in jail for allegedly shooting his girlfriend.
Deputies say it happened Sunday evening along Buckeye Hills road in Raccoon Township near the village of Rio Grande, Ohio. That's where 40-year old Jesse E. Bender allegedly shot his girlfriend in the arm. She was taken to a Huntington hospital.
