A Kanawha County couple is arrested for allegedly operating a meth lab with a baby inside.
Derrick Easterday and Corey Ramsey are facing numerous felony meth charges, along with child endangerment creating risk of injury or death.
Troopers got a tip they were operating a meth lab out of a home on Alexander Street in Cedar Grove.
When they got there, they found syringes and spoons with residue on them.
Easterday told troopers another man would give him cash to run the lab out of his garage.
"It goes beyond just the addict and the cook for profit, it goes to a child that can't defend itself, can't help itself, and is basically a victim of circumstance," explains Sgt. Larry O'Bryan with the West Virginia State Police.
Easterday and Ramsey's 10-month-old baby has been place in child protective custody.
