LARRY THOMAS Huntington Man Charged With Attempted Murder Of Baby

A fugitive out of Boyd County, Kentucky is in a West Virginia jail Tuesday morning after police say he tried to suffocate his 11-month old baby girl.
It happened around 11:30pm Monday at a home in the 2100 block of 10th Avenue in Huntington.
Court documents say that's 41-year old Larry James Thomas and his child's mother got into an argument. Thomas allegedly put a pillow over the infant's face and then punched her mother in the face. The baby is reportedly okay.
Huntington Police arrested him a short time later and found him in possession of a knife. Thomas is charged with attempted murder, domestic battery, and carrying a concealed weapon. His bond is set at $520,000 dollars. Thomas is wanted in Kentucky on drug charges.
