POWER OUTAGE Major Power Outage In Lincoln/Cabell Counties

A major power outage this morning has affected western Lincoln County and eastern Cabell County. No word on what caused the outage but AEP crews are working to restore power. Over 2,000 people are without power in Lincoln, which is nearly 20% of the County. About 1,000 customers are without power in Cabell.
Several area schools are closed due to the lack of power, including:

West Hamlin Elementary
Guyan Valley Middle
Lincoln County High
Salt Rock Elementary
