AMY JOHNSTON Woman Arrested After Police Pull Her Over In Stolen Vehicle

It didn't take St. Albans police long to catch up with a woman who stole a car late Wednesday evening.
According to a press release, 26-year old Amy L. Johnston of Hurricane, stole a 1993 Saturn Coupe from the Nitro Moose Lodge around 11pm Wednesday. Officers pulled her over at the Kroger parking lot in St. Albans. Police say Johnston admitted to stealing the car, saying she " “drove it like she stole it.” The car has been returned to its owner.
Police say Johnston's license has been suspended since 2007. She is charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle and could face additional charges at a later date.
