Both the company and the union that operate a sprawling aluminum fabrication plant in Jackson County, West Virginia hope a new 40 million dollar machine will revitalize the Constellium plant and the local economy.
The so-called stretcher dedicated today is the largest in the U.S. and will enable the plant to produce high quality aluminum plate for the aerospace and defense industries.
Constellium calls it a significant investment in the Ravenswood plant and the future of Jackson County.
