For eight years, Robert Haddy has been teaching Capital High School students about makeup design.
He has some impressive credentials...including work on big budget Hollywood films "There's Something About Mary," "Bedazzled" and "Batman and Robin."
His latest credit is the SyFy Channel reality series, "Face Off" in which up and coming makeup artists pit their skills against each other.
Haddy secured the final spot on the show by winning an online voting contest.
Filming on the series finished. Haddy has watched the first two episodes at Charleston's Vandalia Grille...where family and friends have joined him.
He says the "Face Off" experience was a dream come true...and one that contains a valuable lesson for his students.
Haddy is not permitted to reveal how he finished in the competition, but he has survived through the first two episodes of the ten episode season.
The "Face Off" champion wins a new car, $25,000 in makeup supplies and $100,000 in cash.
