A Huntington murder suspect appears in Cabell County Court Thursday afternoon.
Aaron Searls is charged in connection with the shooting death of Larry Keaton. It happened outside the Lounge Bar last week.
Keaton's girlfriend testified that Searls came after them outside the bar, pulled out a gun and fired it three times at Keaton.
Searls told police he shot Keaton in self defense. He says Keaton was waiting for him outside the bar and attacked him, but police say surveillance video shows Searls left the bar first.
