A man charged with attempting to sexually abuse a patient in a Cabell County nursing home is sentenced to up to three years in prison.
Police say 31-year-old Darren Canada attempted to have sex with 81-year-old Mary Bolden, a patient at the Chateau Grove Nursing Home in Barboursville. They say he was caught in the act when someone walked into the patient's room.
Canada was convicted of sex crimes in Arkansas and was a fugitive from justice from that state when he was employed at Chataeu Grove.
