Two firefighters are recovering after an early morning house fire in Huntington.
It happened around 4:30 Wednesday morning on Prospect Street in the Guyandotte area.
We're told one firefighter was overcome by smoke, another received burns. Firefighters tell us that the people who lived in that home had some many belongings that it was difficult for emergency crews to gain entrance inside that residence.
Firefighters are still on the scene as of 10am -- as that fire has been rekindling throughout the morning. No one was home when the fire started. Dispatchers say WV Route 2 is back open.
