A man is facing drug charges after Kanawha County sheriff's deputies find 24 pounds of marijuana in his car.
Deputies say Neil Jewell, 43, of Canada, Kentucky was caught speeding in South Charleston on Tuesday.
During the traffic stop, deputies say Jewell was acting nervous and had to be forced from the car. That's when they say they found a zip-lock bag of marijuana in his pocket.
After getting consent to search the truck, deputies found a white box in the bed of the truck that contained several blocks and bags of pot, weighing 24 pounds.
Jewell allegedly admitted to possessing the drugs, and say he intended to distribute it at a later time.
