For people in the town of Fort Gay, in Wayne County the new year, hasn't brought much relief when it comes to their water problems.
Especially those on the outskirts of town like the Doss Hill area or in Tolisa Heights.
An agreement between city leaders and the Wayne County Commission was signed in late 2011.
The county will step in and take over Fort Gay's water and sewer operation, this means residents will see a raise in service fees.
