A Kanawha County man convicted of possession of material depicting a minor in sexually explicit conduct is once again behind bars.
Almost two weeks ago, troopers say Gabriel Hargus came into the South Charleston detachment to register as a sex offender. They say he gave troopers the wrong birthday and failed to provide his alias as "Ethan Stone." Hargus also failed to tell troopers he had internet at his residence and had access to live in his girlfriend's vehicle.
Hargus is charged with four felony counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He is currently being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 cash only bond.
