A mine injured on the job Monday morning is expected to be okay.
Donny Pauley with the Brody Mine in Wharton tells Eyewitness News that Todd Agosti suffered a hand injury while trying to reassemble a belt. Agosti was transported to Boone Memorial Hospital.
Agosti is a member of the belt crew, which moves equipment from one end of the mine to the next. He's been with the mine for a little more than a year.

A miner is apparently injured in a mine accident.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. in Boone County.
Emergency dispatchers say the unidentified miner got tangled up in a belt at the Brody Mine in Wharton.
